Buying a camper

Published by amybrowne under thoughts Edit This

Later today, I will hand my sister cash for her pull behind camper. Ray is buying it for us for next year when we go camping.  It will sleep six, but we will take the grand children in there with us, and the older kids can sleep in tents. During the winter last year, Ray got a 3-tent combination on clearance for just $50 bucks.  Great deal as it is one large tent with two smaller tents that you can set up alone or attach them to the bigger one.

I am excited, as I have always wanted a camper. I am much too old at twenty-one plus twenty-one to be sleeping on the ground. I am not that number you get when you add 21 plus 21. At least I do not feel it. I know my birth certificate states other wise, but i do not admit it. Anyways I digress.

The camper is our second big purchase together, last winter at tax time we picked out a new (used) kitchen stove for me that replaced the one I got from my grand father back in 1986.         I am one who uses things until they simply have no use left to them, and I have been using it without a handle on the oven for almost 10 years.

Dang I forgot to mention to you all about Ray, he is my smart aleck boyfriend of two and a half years. I love his aussie accent almost as much as I love him.
