3 generations under one roof

I am at 897104 page views as of the latest update on associated content, so I see a million page views dangling in front of me. I have never had a million of anything before so it is exciting to see it happening.

In early July, 2008 I had broken 200,000 and that was after writing since April 2007. I figured it would take forever to hit the million-view mark, I was wrong. I was wrong because I lucked out and had a few insanely popular articles that have brought me way up in a few short months.  I have been going up on average about 12,000 to 14,000 page views an update which is 3 or 4 days, so with just 103,000 or so to go it will be occurring rather soon.  

I do find it rather pitiful the articles, which seem to make the money online, are the articles that are SEO’ed to the max when I have written several articles that are do nicely about stuff that matters. I know I should not complain as I am finally getting decent page view bonuses, but I would rather have them for the other articles.
